Jackie Levy Atias, Director of Oranim International

It is hard for me to imagine a more difficult and traumatic time than the days since the horrific massacre on Black Saturday, October 7th. Also, on a personal level as a resident of the northern border, I am displaced in my own country. The pain is unbearable, and the worry permeates our bodies and does not let up, and yet, as the director of Oranim Interna4onal, I am committed to the overarching goal that we have defined of establishing contact and furthering dialogue between different and diverse communities in Israel and abroad. Today, more than ever, it is of cardinal importance to have a protected discourse and maintain relationships within Israeli society. The Galilee Dreamers, Oranim International's flagship program, takes on a double meaning today whereby there is an existing need to continue creating a joint society in Israel. We do and will continue doing everything in our power to preserve and promote Jewish-Arab discourse and to make the Galilee Dreamers program a model for joint action.

Thank you for your support of Galilee Dreamers.
